By accessing or using My Companions ("the Service") provided by My Companions ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

My Companions is a multi-tenant SaaS platform providing modular productivity tools ("Companions") for industries including hospitality, construction, budgeting, and more.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service except through approved features.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by My Companions and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7. Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods. At the end of a trial, your access may be converted to a paid subscription or restricted, depending on the companion and plan. We will notify you before any charges apply.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Companions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
